The Recognition Committee is pleased to announce that Harambe iz ur Daddy is the Recognized Writer for July. He has been a member since August 2021. We have not seen the likes of very many whose extreme creativity, eloquence, linguistic gymnastics, satiric irreverence, and scatological humor have graced us the way Harambe has on FanStory. Harambe has both won numerous contests and has been the creator of a number of contests - many extremely clever - including his 2D Acrostic Challenge. Not only is he a frequent poster, but also his reviews are encouraging, thorough, honest, and helpful with the advice he gives. He will often upgrade the stars when writers go back and make needed improvements from his suggestions. 5-7-5 Poem

Write a 5-7-5 Poem! This is a poem with only three lines. The catch is there is a strict syllable count. The first line has 5 syllables, second 7, third 5 again. This contest is for members that have not had a first place finish in thirty days.
